Located abour one and ahalf hour drive from Kuta to the north east. An easy dive site, gentle white sandy slope and excellent marine life at Blue Lagoon. Nice reef formation at Bias Tuggel and for the macro dive, you need to look at the Jetty, a new cruise ship pier in Padang bay.

LOCATION: North East Coast of Bali, approximately 1.5 hours drive from Kuta/Legian. Four sites accessed by boat from Padang Bai TYPE OF DIVES: Boat diving, reef diving, wall diving, drift diving. VISIBILITY: 15 – 30 metres DEPTHS: 10 – 40 metres (18m and above recommended)
CURRENT: Zero at Blue Lagoon, but unpredictable and changes often at other sites. SUITABILITY: Preferably experienced divers only CONDITION: An easy dive site, gentle white sandy slope and excellent marine life at Blue Lagoon. Mimpang, Tepekong Biaha: weather plays a strong role in determining dive condition here, swells, big waves and currents can make this a tricky dive site, cold upwellings can bring water temperatures down to very chilly levels. But on other days it can be as calm as a mill pond.
HIGHLIGHTS: Considerable amount of fish. Reef sharks and assorted Rays. Cuttlefish, leafscorpionfish, crocodilefish (Blue Laggon); many big pelagics (Tepekong,Mimpang,Biaha Amuk Bay located along the south side of Bali’s eastern point, it’s about 6 km across with Padang Bai in the south and Candidasa in the north. Blue Lagoon just north Padang Bay, Tapekong and Biaha offers some of the best diving in Bali and in fact, some of the best diving you will find anywhere. Sharks are seen on almost every dive, molas are regularly spotted, the fish life is exceptionally rich, the coral is healthy and the water is crystal clear. The dive sites for our Padang bay day dive trips, depending the water condition are : blue Lagoon, Jepun, Bias Tugel and the Jetty
